its just a normal keyboard. if i power the keyboard from a power socket using its AC adapter will it damage my computer in any way while it is connected to the computer by a lead? I hope im making sense.
I don’t believe that anything bad will happen. There should be enough resistance in the wires that you will be fine. Also I think that my roommate has done it many times. He does it so that he can record the stuff he plays directly to the computer and he uses a really big keyboard.

I just got a spectrum 61 key electronic keyboard for christmas, since I wanted a keyboard in my room, instead of always having to use my grand piano..Anyways, the pitch of the keyboard is one half step off, I compared it to an online tuner, and my original piano. The piano is perfectly in pitch btw, so please don’t say that maybe the piano is off pitch and not the keyboard. So is there anything I can do to fix the problem? Or should I send it back to the manufacturer?
Page 23 of the manual talks about how to transpose the notes… I’m betting this is what you want. The only other thought I had was the possibility of the pitch wheel being moved down?

I am a beginner. But i don’t want a real easy keyboard because i can learn fast. I want it to be 88 keys, weighted keys, have usb and headphones. I want a relatively decent price too. I’m looking for something under $500. I don’t want to many features but i might also like recording but if that brings up the price dramatically, no. Also i want to play songs like modern songs and not really old classical music.
Thank You!
I just bought a Yamaha YPG-635. It was about $800, but it was pretty worth it. It’s got USB, headphones, and has a pretty good feel. It you wanna spend a little extra it’s a good choice.

if you play any of these instruments could you please tell what there like thank you
I am a violinist. To play electric violin, you would have to be able to play regular violin. It takes a really long time to sound good on violin, but I definitely say it’s worth it! I love playing and love the repertoire we have.

Here I give a quick (and quite amateurish — I am not a good keyboard player by any means!) demonstration of my Casio PT-100 keyboard. It is ALL ORIGINAL and NOT modified or “circuit bent” in any way, unlike almost all the other Casio keyboards you’ll find shown on YouTube!
From the late ’80, the PT-100 was one of the last and most advanced Casio keyboards to use exclusively multi-pulse squarewave sounds… *not* FM synthesis or digital samples! It also features Casio Chord with percussion accompaniment, which also makes some very nice retro-style synthesized electronic sounds, especially the “zizz” sound of the hi-hat cymbal.
I just wish they made a bigger keyboard with the same electronics, because I really like its sounds (both keyboard voices and percussion / accomaniment), but especially with Casio Chord enabled, it doesn’t give you very many keys to play the melody on.
p.s. The snippet of melody I keep repeating is from Louise Tucker’s “Dancing By Moonlight”, which itself is based on some classical composer’s melody, the identity of which is unknown to me.

This is me playing my version of cars. I pre recorded the drums, the 2nd synth, the bass, and the synth percussion. (The drum part is a liitle different because i can not play very good drums on my keyboard).
I played the 1st synth and the tambourine live. I shortened it up so I coukd make it an instrumental. Sorry if the video is not the best I am using a webcam.
