Here’s Bevvy (Diana D’Itri, Rebecca Coltman, Liz Jones, Brenda Lancaster, Debi Pomeroy), an all girl original rock band from the ’80′s. Remember the Go Go’s (we were after them)… Remember the Bangles (right before)…oh well, we never “made it” but we sure had fun and we wrote some decent songs (I think, anyway). I’ll be posting more later so you can be the judge. In this performance at FM Station in LA in 1986, like many of our showcases (we did play the Roxy and Gazzaris back when they were still kind of something), I was with child…6 mo. along with my 2nd. The song is called Yamaha man (just in time for Namm 2010). Yamaha man was one of our first originals and was inspired by our keyboard player’s new Yamaha keyboard.

A Yamaha guitar is very durable and stylish. You can bring it when you have a gig or during special occasions. You can be assured that your electric guitar will not fail you. Durability and quality workmanship are the trademarks of every Yamaha made guitar.
One of the best benefits that you can enjoy from a Yamaha guitar is its versatility. Whether you want to play rock, pop, country, or classical, your guitar will be able to perform well. On the other hand, if you simply want the classic sound of guitars, just unplug your Yamaha from the distortion gadget so you can play country, slow pop or even classical tunes. The versatility of a Yamaha guitar will sharpen your skills enabling you to play different genres of music.
Yamaha guitar will never grow old. This is another big benefit that you can get from the brand. Yamaha designs will always be hip and cool. So it does not matter whether you are using a circa 80s brand of Yamaha, your guitar will always be fashionable.
You can surely enjoy lots of benefits from your Yamaha electric guitar. If you are still looking for the right electric guitar to use during your gigs, then Yamaha can be your best option.

A classic Casio PT-1 vintage synth. The sounds on this baby are amazing! It’s in amazing condition and works flawlessly. For sale on eBay (under the same username as here)
Here I give a quick (and quite amateurish — I am not a good keyboard player by any means!) demonstration of my Casio PT-100 keyboard. It is ALL ORIGINAL and NOT modified or “circuit bent” in any way, unlike almost all the other Casio keyboards you’ll find shown on YouTube!
From the late ’80, the PT-100 was one of the last and most advanced Casio keyboards to use exclusively multi-pulse squarewave sounds… *not* FM synthesis or digital samples! It also features Casio Chord with percussion accompaniment, which also makes some very nice retro-style synthesized electronic sounds, especially the “zizz” sound of the hi-hat cymbal.
I just wish they made a bigger keyboard with the same electronics, because I really like its sounds (both keyboard voices and percussion / accomaniment), but especially with Casio Chord enabled, it doesn’t give you very many keys to play the melody on.
p.s. The snippet of melody I keep repeating is from Louise Tucker’s “Dancing By Moonlight”, which itself is based on some classical composer’s melody, the identity of which is unknown to me.
This is me playing my version of cars. I pre recorded the drums, the 2nd synth, the bass, and the synth percussion. (The drum part is a liitle different because i can not play very good drums on my keyboard).
I played the 1st synth and the tambourine live. I shortened it up so I coukd make it an instrumental. Sorry if the video is not the best I am using a webcam.
