The benefit of electric instruments is that you have the option to decide whether you want to be loud or quiet. You can use headphone to cut down on noise and practice and electric instruments look a lot cooler than acoustic instruments.

for one thing… LOUDER
but also electrical instruments come wiht a lot of oppurtunities to make sounds u cant n normal acoustic, from things like effect peddles or amps that provide a different variety of tones and sounds for you to play.
not to mention how cool electric is. Eddie van halen did nto get famous for shredding an acoustic
